E, as an adolescent...correct usage
(A) while being an adolescent -being an adolescent....wordy (B) while in adolescence - while is really not needed here... (C) at the time of her being adolescent -wordy (D) as being in adolescence -wordy as well.. (E) as an adolescent

This is purely based on idioms...
The only version that is correct is "as an adolescent"...so E is the correct answer.

Hi all, If a sentence starts with Although then WHILE is not required in the same sentence part. Please correct me if I am wrong. noboru wrote: 94. (A) while being an adolescent (B) while in adolescence (C) at the time of her being adolescent (D) as being in adolescence (E) as an adolescent

Agree with the OA E sounds the best while is not required due to Although.

"as" here used as preposition here. for example " as a child, i thought i could fly". so E wins
