A has verb problems.
All make run on sentences.
joining 2 IC with no conjuction, need (and, but, etc.)
I think the sentence should have a semicolon instead of comma in BCDE choices.
If it has semicolon, then D.
otherwise all are wrong.

You gotta be kidding me? It is a run on sentence. You can not use a comma to join two independent clause. No matter what?
Each of the clauses has a subject and a predicate and moreover, the second idependent clause is using a pronoun that refers to the subject of the 1st clause.
Take a look at the structure of the sentence.
IC - The brown recluse spider is rarely fatal,
IC - it causes chronic flesh wounds and poses the greatest danger to infants and the elderly
NRC(Non Rsterictive clause) - who are particularly vulnerable to its poison.
This sentence is wrong in GMAT.

how can a brown recluse spider be fatal?????
Its bite may be fatal, though. A seems the best choice but has SBA issue:(
