Alumni Interview [#permalink] New post 22 Oct 2005, 05:54
Hi Scott,

Hope this msg finds you well.

I had requested for an alumni interview in my area (Sydney, Australia) when I submitted part I of the application for Kellogg. I have just received an email stating the name and contact details of my interviewer.

I just wanted to know the level of importance of this interview. They have asked me to email the interviewer my resume prior to the interview date. I am planning on applying for round 2...so was wondering if you could shed some light on what kind of questions that I might face and what are they looking for in this interview? Is this a friendly chat or a potential "application strenghtening" opportunity??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks mate!
Asmita

The interview is definitely an application strengthening opportunity. Although some alumni treat it as a laid-back chat, Kellogg uses it as considerably important part of the decision process.

Typical questions focus on your reasons for wanting to attend Kellogg, your leadership abilities, teamwork experiences and general work experience.
