Hi,
I am appearing for GMAT in mid Dec 2006.I wanted to know if I am too late for admissions of 2007(Spring and Fall).Considering that I have to do everything from Applns. to getting Study Visa-after getting the score. And if I am late, then is it a good idea to select 5 schools receiving my scrores when I appear for GMAT in December ? Also what is the earliest admissions I can target ? Please suggest.Thanks.

I assume we are talking full time US based. You are late, but not too late. Some schools have second round deadlines in January. Check their websites for specific ones (you dont say which you are considering).
Apply NO LATER THAN R2, ESPECIALLY if you are international.
You do have your work cut out for you though. Get started now on essays. Ask for recommendations as soon as you can.

Yes it is Full time US based.I feel embarassed even to say that I am so new to this applns. process. I know nothing almost where to start ? what all is required ? etc...Can you direct me to the link where I can find all this information ? Or is it that I have to search through the website of each of these schools to learn the application process and requirements ? Thanks.

You need to go to each schools website. Each one has different requirements - some say you can self report transcripts, others require you to mail them in, some want 2 recommendation letters, others 3. Some require work experience, other's don't. Some require international applicants to apply by a certain date, other's don't. Some have specific seperate requirements for international candidaets (i.e. TOEFL).
Where are you looking to apply?

Hey rhyme,
I really appreciate your help.I am targetting a scores in 680+. With a work experience of 2+ from India's Leading IT company. So I wish to get into one of the Top 20-25 Bschools. But again I think I have to do some detail study on the fee of each of these to decide how much I can afford ? Yes I am from India, hence I will require a TOEFL score as well.
