An advertisement designed to convince readers of the great durability of automobiles manufactured by the Deluxe Motor Car Company cites as evidence the fact that over half of all automobiles built by the company since 1970 are still on the road today, compared to no more than a third for any other manufacturer.

Even if the no. of cars did not increase it is entirely possible that all the cars today are of later years like 1971 and so on.
Thus argument about durability since 1970 is not correct as stated in B.
I'll go with D. Since It promises that over half of its automobiles manufactured since 1970 are still on road today, it means that customers can rely on that quality and that Deluxe didn't make any changes to the automobiles ever since. They retained the highest quality.
It is not B bcos, the number doesn't tell us anything regarding the market share and so does not suffice our argument.
The issue here is about the durability of the car from Deluxe. B and D are totally out of scope. The number of automobiles built and fewer changes in the automobiles have nothing to do with the arguement.
I choose C because it explains the Deluxe cars have been durable all these years because of the maintenence from the car owners.
Reasoning is is they have been using the same manufacturing process for a while and that resulted into their cars being on the road more than the other competitors, then they must be doing something right.
