An advertisements states:
Like Danaxil, all headache pills can stop your headache. But when you are in pain, you want relief right away. Danaxil is for you—no headache pill stops pain more quickly.
Evelyn and Jane are each suffering from a headache. Suppose Evelyn takes Danaxil and Jane takes its leading competitor.
Which one of the following can be properly concluded from the claims in the advertisement?
(A) Evelyn’s headache pain will be relieved, but Jane’s will not.
(B) Evelyn’s headache pain will be relieved more quickly than Jane’s.
(C) Evelyn’s headache will be relieved at least as quickly as Jane’s.
(D) Jane’s headache pain will be relieved at the same time as is Evelyn’s.
(E) Jane will be taking Danaxil for relief from headache pain.

This implies that no other pill heals faster then danaxil. But there is also a possibility that another pill can heal as fast as danaxil. Note that the argument does not say that danaxil is the fastest healing pill.

IMO, (C) Evelyn’s headache will be relieved at least as quickly as Jane’s. is a better choice.

Excellent. One more C. B is a deadly trap.

In C, we have to assume that headache and headache pain are the same.

This seems very poor question from GMAT standards . Can you tell the source of this problem..

I picked B by the way ...

Well, someone said ths is a poorly worded question and I agree. Don't think we will see something worded like this on the real test but it's still a good logical and trap question.

I am thinking about the question using math inequalities (you know: less than, great than). In this case, I am thinking of time it takes for pain relief as the value in question.

From "Danaxil is for you—no headache pill stops pain more quickly" we have

Danaxil < all other pills.

Lets assume Jane took some pill N. In choosing between B and C:

B) Danaxil < N --- Looks right.

C) Danaxil <= N --- But Danaxil is < all other pills.

From this, I am going with B
