A, B and C are out – verb issue
E: “an average” incorrectly modifies global warming; instead it needs to modify the number.
Answer: D

there are issues with both D and E. Obviously ABC are out as there is a verb issue. In D average cannot be from A to B average will be between A and B. In E average global warmong of between is ambiguos. If I had to pick I will pick E

It is a tricky question. I'll pick E, because i believe that D changes the meaning. I understand from D that what the group projects is the change of the average from 1,8 to 6,3, so 1,8 is the old value, and 6,3 is a new value. E keeps the original meaning, that the average will be a value between 1,8 and 6,3.

What are the errors, if any, in D and E? I would go with E. An average can't be "from" 1.8 to 6.3 because it's not a range. It must fall "between" 1.8 and 6.3
