An odd question I was hoping you could answer [#permalink] New post 17 Dec 2009, 08:50
What does it mean when the admissions office sends me an email requesting a 15 minute conversation about my candidacy and interest in the program, 5 days before they are supposed to notify me of my acceptance/rejection? I did an interview at the very beginning of September and have not communicated with them since I sent my application in mid-October. Is this standard practice when the school has not heard from someone in a while or are they trying to decide if they want to accept me into the program?

Thanks a lot!

mba259,

I would guess it's the latter. It definitely is not standard procedure. They clearly have a specific question they want your clarification on. Let us know how it turns out.

Thanks very much for your comments! I guess they weren't too unsure about me because I got in with a scholarship! Take care.
