An orchard in full bloom is beautiful, even if there is no one to admire it.
The statement above would be a logical rebuttal to which of the following claims?
(A) You cannot argue with taste.
(B) Beauty exists only in the eye of the beholder.
(3) Beauty is only skin deep.
(D) People will see only what they want to see.
(E) A thing of beauty is a joy forever.

Where did you get this question. I think, D is kinda broader in scope.

CRACK GMAT
Explanation given by them is rather incomplete..
The question asks you to identify the option for which the given assertion is a logical rebuttal.
The statement in option B, 'beauty exists only in the eye of the beholder', is effectively countered by the given statement.

Lets try putting letters near the situation
a = Orchid is beautiful/beauty exists
b = someone viewing the orchid
hence the question says that 'a' exists whether or not 'b' is present
choice B implies that:
beauty can exists only if 'b' is present
in essence orchid is beautiful = beauty can exist
therefore choice B says: 'a' can exist only if 'b' is present
this is logically opposite

The stimulus states that there exists such a thing as "absolute beauty". This would directly rebut B which states that beauty only exists in each person's mind. This does not directly rebut D because D can be applied to a variety of topics other than beauty.
