Please rate my essay
AWA ESSAYS: Analyze Issues ESSAY QUESTION: "In making a complex decision, one should trust experience more than instinct."
Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the position stated above. Support your viewpoint using reasons and examples from your own experience, observations, or reading.
YOUR RESPONSE: The author states that "In making complex decision, one should trust experience more than instinct".As the saying puts,"There are a thousand Hamlet in a thousand people's eye",different people, depending on their experiences and attitude may have different views. But according to me the statement made by author is very logical and I agree to him totally.
According to me the experience plays a very important role in everyone's life particularly when it is a time to take COMPLEX decisions. While taking complex decisions you can't give more importance to your instincts than your trust.I can prove it with examples.Suppose a patient is in very critical stage and immediately the doctor needs to perform a surgery as soon as possible. The doctor has performed many surgeries of the particular type in his life. But,at this moment his instincts are telling him that rather than applying the usual procedure he should perform a surgery in another way. What will he do?Will he trust his instincts or his experience and the answer is very clear,he will trust his experience and perform the surgery is a usual way and save the patient's life. The Opponents may say that if that if that is the case one will never be able to try new paths which may be easier than the current paths. But when it is a time to make complex decisions, one should always trust experiences more than the instincts.
We see many examples even in our day to day life.If a businessman wants to open a new factory he will definitely take into consideration his years of experiences before taking such a complex decision. Particularly in businesses, experiences matters a lot than instincts.Be it doctor, teacher, scientist, clerk or a housewife, everyone trusts experiences more than instincts.
While supporting this argument,I don't mean than instincts not at all play a role in decision making.Scientists such as Einstein and Rights brothers believed their instincts and hence could succeed in achieving their goals. But it can be applied only in certain limited areas. And when it comes to which one is more important ,experience or instincts,I would say trust your experiences.

Well, I think its a good effort, but need some improvements. The sentences like the one "I can prove it with examples" are not making sense. Structure needs to be improved, though I think that you have correctly tried to explain your ideas in your own words. Do go through chinese burned AWA guide available at AWA forum. Best of luck and keep us posted.

I dont consider my observation accurate, but according to my assessment, the essay will be 4.5 or 5. But again, I can be wrong. Have you gone through chinese burned guide??? That can help you alot during the next 5 days.
