Hi Alessandro,

I'm hoping that you can provide a bit more information about what you've described.

When you describe when you "first took the GMAT", you refer to how you "missed 11 questions." Does that mean that you had to guess on those 11 questions at the end of the section (because you were low on time) OR does it mean that you did not physically answer them (because you ran out of time)?

It would also help if you would post your Enhanced Score Report so that we can see all of the information that it contains.

In real simple terms, you should do your best to answer every question on the GMAT, even if it's just a guess. In that same way, you should not get too "bogged down" on any one question - if you genuinely do not know how to handle it, then you should guess and move on.

Hi EMPOWERgmatRichC,

I mean that the time finished and I didn't really take those questions. I didn't even guess them. I'm asking this because I know that the worst thing to do is not finishing the answers.

Thank you for your help in advance.

PS. I uploaded the ESR.

Hi Alessandro,

Since you did not answer the final 11 Quant questions, the data in your ESR is 'skewed' (and not completely accurate). The Quant section data (average time, sub-scores, etc.) takes into account ONLY the questions that you answered, while the Scaled Score actually DOES factor in that you did not answer those 11 questions. As an example, you were at the 72nd percentile for Problem Solving when you ran out of time, but you were NOT actually at that level for the entire section.

Since your next GMAT is in a few days, there's not much you can do to make any big changes to how you approach the Test, but you MUST make sure to answer every question on the Exam (even if they are just guesses).
