Ans should be A.

Ancient Romans found it therapeutic to bathe | in cold milk, | in strawberries that had been crushed, | or in bathtubs filled with black caviar.

Intent is clear and concise, no beating around the bush stuff. The pronoun "it" is expletive by nature, case where a verb "to bathe" is replaced with a preceding pronoun. Remaining part of the sentence is parallel.
