So, here we are at the end of Sept. I went back and found the first file I could find that I'd worked on.

I started on 7/06. Man does that seem like a long time ago.

In that time I've:

Created 48 revisions of my resume
Created 98 revisions of my Harvard essays
Created 32 revisions of my Kellogg essays
Created 36 revisions of my Chicago essays

So where am I now?

It took me 12 weeks to do 3 schools.

Twelve weeks, 60 workdays and 12 Sundays. I put in about 2-3 hours a night on workdays, and 6-7 on sundays. That means that so far, I've put in about 200-250 hours into this.

Thats mind boggling isn't it?

The good thing is I'm getting faster at it. Harvard took me a month and a half. Kellogg 3 weeks. Chicago 3. Maybe I can get it down to two weeks per school!

I was originally planning on the following

HBS
Kellogg
Chicago
Yale
Georgetown

And now I'm thinking:

HBS - DONE
Kellogg - DONE
Chicago - DONE
Yale - R1, Oct 25 Deadline (I'm thinking of dropping yale from my list, I really dont have a great reason that its on here right now.)
Cornell - R2, Nov 9 deadline (75% done already)
Georgetown - R1, Dec 1 deadline
Darden - R2 Dec 5 deadline

I think I might even be able to squeeze in one more.

Hows it going for everyone else?

Overwhelmed?

Stop acomplishing so much please. It makes the rest of us all feel like we are lagging.

I'm still trying to figure out where to apply to and I have 5-6 information sessions to go to over the next two weeks. I think this part will definitely wind up being more work that preparing for the GMAT.

I started early. I think I might even pull off Cornell for R1. It's going to be TIGHT, I've only got 8 days to do it in, but I figure if I get up early tomorrow morning and dedicate the day to it, I'll pull it off.

First drafts are done. GMAT scores were ordered a few weeks ago. Its plausible, I just need to get my recommenders to commit to submission by then.

I feel like a complete idiot. Since Sept 1, I started my app for INSEAD - and ONLY INSEAD, and I haven't even finished my first round yet..struggling to put the right sentences...

I saw the apps for IMD and Oxford and I shudder thinking of filling them all up... how do you guys even do it for 5-6 schools?!
