1. Ann: All the campers at Camp Winnehatchee go to Tri-Cities High School
Bill: That‟s not true. Some Tri-Cities students are campers at Camp Lakemont.
Bill‟s answer can be best explained on the assumption that he has interpreted Ann‟s remark to mean that
(A) most of the campers at Camp Lakemont come from high schools other than Tri-Cities
(B) most Tri-Cities High School students are campers at Camp Winnehatchee
(C) some Tri-Cities High School students have withdrawn from Camp Lakemont
(D) all Tri-Cities High School students have withdrawn from Camp Lakemont
(E) only campers at Camp Winnehatchee are students at Tri-Cities High Schoool

I m confuse b\w B & E

Bill‟s answer can be best explained on the assumption that he has interpreted Ann‟s remark to mean that

(A) most of the campers at Camp Lakemont come from high schools other than Tri-Cities - Out of scope
(B) most Tri-Cities High School students are campers at Camp Winnehatchee - Hold
(C) some Tri-Cities High School students have withdrawn from Camp Lakemont - Out of scope
(D) all Tri-Cities High School students have withdrawn from Camp Lakemont - Out of scope
(E) only campers at Camp Winnehatchee are students at Tri-Cities High Schoool - Hold

B: most Tri-Cities High School students are campers at Camp Winnehatchee - may be true may not be true answer type. Eliminate

E: only campers at Camp Winnehatchee are students at Tri-Cities High School - True, otherwise why will he say that some Tri cities students are campers at a different camp i.e Camp Winnehatchee.

Hence E prevails.

The assumption here is that Bill interpreted Ann's remark as only Tri-cities high school kids go to camp at Winnehatchee, because his response is - thats not true some tri-cities students are campers at camp Lakemont as well.

IN B where you say most tri-cities school students are campers at camp winnehatchee is incorrect because "most" does not equal "all".

E as it fills in the logical gap/ missing assumption /unstated premise to let this statement become true.

Hi, thanks for posting the question. It would be nice if you did not post "I m confuse b\w B & E" in the same post with the question as then it gives the reader a hint and makes their mind pick one of those.
