ANNOUNCEMENT- NEED HELP WITH GMAT STUDY STRATEGY [#permalink] New post 19 Jan 2005, 07:31
Hi, My name is David, and I am currently living in cincinnati.
I plan on doing the gmat in May, and want a score of atleast 750.
I have the Kaplan book, the kaplan 800, the princeton review and the OG.
In addition I want to use the gmaxonline prep course , plus the delta course.
I looked up the gmattutor and printed out the 300 hr study plan.
I want to do all that is possible within the next three months to get a score of atleast 750.
What advice would you give me on the best and most efective way of utilising all these in a study plan, and any other resources if possible?

I would greatly appreciate your contributions, and would like to contribute as much to this forum too in the coming few months.

Thanks alot
David :-D

Hi there,

Glad to note that you are an aspirant of GMAT. A good score in GMAT is a function of a systematic study plan, discipline and addressing the weaknesses. If you are willing to put in required number of hours, the plan should start with determining your weak areas and plugging those gaps quickly by knowing the tricks.

Thereafter, you should revise all the theory behind the subjects and follow the comprehensive plan to gain accuracy within the stipulated time.

Finally, you should take as many full length tests as possible to keep up your momentum. The standard material to follow is Kaplan, Powerprep and Original Guide. You could join an instructor led course for a good understanding of the concepts and gain more practice.

Please feel free to get in touch with General Education consultants and see how you can set your preparation in the right direction.
