Another "Where/Should I apply?" Post

Hey guys,
Sorry to bother you with another post of this type, but I'm a bit stuck as to whether I should apply to schools for the upcoming year...or if I should go ahead and wait another year. A bit of background first.
I did my undergraduate work at Cornell University in ECE and had a rather "poor" GPA in the 3.1 range. I stayed on to do my Masters there and worked my GPA up to 3.5. Just took the GMATs last week and got a 770 (51Q/42V).
For the past 2.5 years, I've been working in the Defense industry as an engineer, but I've had some great experience. I've had the chance to consult, present to high-ranking defense dept officials, and be the lead on various design projects. In my opinion, my work experience so far with this company has been varied and great...and I feel like I'd have a lot to write about in my essays.
My only concern is that I haven't had "enough" work experience. With my current profile, do I stand a good chance at the top schools (HBS, Sloan, Columbia, Kellogg)? Should I get another year or two of work under my belt before I make an attempt at those schools? Is my undergrad GPA too low to even bother with the top names? I don't want to "settle" for a part-time program if I can get into one of the top tier schools. Thanks for your time
