any advice for Verbal improvement [#permalink] New post 02 Jul 2007, 19:28
Hi!

Does anybody has any advice for improving Verbal skill? I am planning to take the GMAT next month. My target score is high 600 or low 700.

Thank you all.

Hi!
I just sat for the GMAT test today and I received 640 for the score.
I was really dissappointed of my low verbal score (30) .

dejavu :) ....I got the same score 2 month ago, 640 (Q48, V29).
At the time, V29 was my true level. I have realised my verbal was fundamentally weak.
Right now I am doing the following to improve my verbal:

SC - is something you can hope and work towards improving.
To improve my fundamental knowledge of english I am reading:
Elements of Style by Strunk & White
http://www.bartleby.com/64/
http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/
http://www.ucalgary.ca/UofC/eduweb/grammar/
I am practising on 1000 SC

RC - I think you can only practice on this.
Official LSAT papers are the best, IMO. Many training providers such as Kaplan provide explanations to each official LSAT question.
