any chance wid GMAT score 470 in Rice/Michigan University? [#permalink]

Hi,

I am a working professional with 7 years of experience .
I want to pursue part-time MBA program from one of Rice, Boston or Michigan University.
I secured a GMAT score of 470. Do I stand any chance in any of these univerisities?
If not, then which other decent university can you recommend with this score.

If you can, retake the GMAT. Not sure how you studied for it, but it may be worthwhile enrolling in a GMAT prep course or hiring a private tutor. You can boost that score to at least the 550s -- and which will then give you more options (including the schools you listed).

By the way i forgot to mention that i am looking for a part-time program.

i see that in business week, indiana, loyala, boston, rice all of these have mid 80% gmat score starting from 470-500.
I am quite of if i can get into one of these uni.
Please advise.
