McCombs has to be the most f*ed up application process of the year
lol...relax man...not having a fixed deadline for the various stages of the application does make it sound disorganized...but im sure they would be having some solid system for all this...i wish they were more outreaching like the ross admission director for example...her blogs are soooooo helpful in the entire process...
Their actual application is pretty screwy, too. The multiple status checks, the requirement of sending official transcripts to another part of the university, and the delay before they accept payment add up.
Then, once I received an interview invite, I had to contact 6 alumni, including one that explicitly said they weren't interviewing before finding one that would even reply. And the person I interviewed scheduled it over his lunch break, showed up late, and had to cut the interview short because he had to get back to work.
On top of that, I'm still looking at the decision taking up to 14 weeks from when I submitted my application, and 9 weeks after my interview. (granted, there's 2 weeks for a holiday, but that's still bad).
I realize a rolling admissions process adds some complications, but it's still been a very frustrating experience.
