I play the piano too. And I am somewhat crazy with this because I like playing pieces that are not traditionally associated with the piano, on the piano, just to check out how it sounds.
I am a fan of musicians by mood. Beethoven for when I am sad, Mozart when I am happy, Bach at all other times. Vivaldi is another favorite, and off late, Ludovico Einaudi. You should listen to his piece called Oltremare. Blows my mind away. Still haven't mastered it, though.
I used to play a lot of guitar during my engineering days in Bangalore . Mostly acoustic . I still play very little of it . However for a long time i have not played a lot and also lost interest in it . (I think pretty soon i am going to take jordan's advice and switch to Drums )
Glad I found this thread... I was about to start a new thread
I play the guitar... Started teaching myself to do so a couple of years back. I play rhythm mostly. I like playing rhythm because I like to cover songs by the band "The Who"; songs by "The Who" have very less lead work, but the rhythm technique is amazing!
@Jordanhendrix You should check out the drummer for the Who - Mr. Keith Moon! \m/
Best ever rock n roll drummer in my opinion! _________________

I started on the piano from when I was young, moved on to the trumpet, and have been playing the guitar (electric and acoustic) for the past 14 years or so. I still suck at it but I enjoy it. I'm actually selling my amp and my electric guitars before b-school since I don't think I really have room for 3 guitars. I'm taking my acoustic with though. _________________
