Before I leave my current company (and begin my MBA this August), I want to get on a cell phone contract at my companies negotiated discount. Before I get a new phone, I want to know what makes the most sense as an MBA student.

Do you/would you need/recommend a smart phone (email capabilities) i.e. blackberry, treo, etc.?
