Any of you consultants using a client for a LOR? [#permalink]
17 Nov 2009, 18:23
I would like to use one of my clients to do a LOR for my Haas application, but I was wondering how this would look to the adcoms. Though they are not my direct employer, is this still ok? A little background - the client is a well-known, well-respected public company started in the Bay Area. I would be using the CIO of the company as I worked directly with him for 18 months on this particular project (project just finished so it is fairly current). I would still be getting a LOR from my direct supervisor, but I wanted to use this guy as I know he would write an exceptional recommendation. Thoughts?

Thoughts? explain it, very briefly, in the optional essay. I have to use suppliers and I was told use the optional essay.

Yep, I know few consultants (including me) who did the same thing.
