Hey,

I am from Phoenix AZ metro area. Anyone thinking of B school for Fall 2009? I won't mind networking locally to help each other out.

I'm still sad that CBS isn't on your list. Can't believe your fiance would prefer Philly or Hanover to NYC?!?!

Hopefully I can convince you to apply in time for the regular decision round :)

ryguy -

I'm with you. I think I'm still going to apply to CBS. If it comes down to CBS or Wharton/Tuck, I think I would have a shot at convincing her. Havard/Chicago/Stanford will trump CBS. I have a pretty good network in NYC too. She's really only been to NYC once but she didn't have a good experience. That, and she's a midwest girl...

Ry - what schools are you going for?

Columbia (already submitted), Darden, Cornell, Ross, Duke for Rd 1 (and hopefully that's it!). We'll see how things go...I need to make the school thing happen this year.

Good to know that there are people applying from PHX. :-D

I am going for Chicago, Ross, Duke, Kellogg. Maybe couple of others depending on how things go.

I am pretty set on going this year, so my strategy is to get into at least one school in Rd1 and depending on feedback shoot for higher in Rd2.
