Any Scholarship Search Services?

I haven't seen this service come up too often - do any of you admissions consultants offer scholarship search services? I went through the resources on each school's MBA website but haven't found much luck - most are targeted towards hispanic/african americans, those who pursue a science degree, wish to become a teacher afterwards, etc. I don't have much that's unique from a scholarship angle, but am probably a good candidate for general merit awards or merit awards for women. I received fellowships from some schools I applied to but decided to attend HBS and they only offer need-based. I did some search on scholarship databases but found mostly irrelevant results and was swamped with ads/sponsor offers! Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

That has been the general experience for most applicants. (Scholarships tend to be for some very unusual profiles - kind of like what is available on sale at Macy's - XXL sizes or shoes size 4 DD). So, unless you are an XXL size with a 4 DD shoe size, you are probably out of luck.

I believe HBS should have a gamut of named scholarships (just a hunch). Is there a resource available at school or can you ask the current students? I am sure eskimoroll, emont, shartperson, or a few others may know.

P.S. Good idea on scholarship "search" - never heard of it. It would be great to have a search engine for it at least...

Thanks bb. Yes HBS does have a bunch of fellowships but unlike most other schools, they are pretty much all need based. And after working in venture capital, I don't see high hopes for getting one. :shock:
