Anyone already thinking about the Fall 2014 intake ? [#permalink] New post 07 Dec 2012, 04:43
Hi there

i am new here, but not targeting the current intake.
Are there some people already considering applying next year ? and if yes, at what stage of the process are you ?
I have only updated my resume so far, and have scheduled my GMAT in May next year.

By the way, I am from France, so if anyone in Europe would like to connect I'd be glad to get to know you !

Hi Sinomarin,

The earlier the better and, like you, I am also planning for '14 admission. Currently I am feverishly studying for the GMAT which I will take in February/March. Additionally, I am reading as many MBA admissions books as possible so there won't be any surprises. It is my intention to apply in R1 for all my top three schools.

Agreed, the earlier you start the better.
It gives you opportunity to focus on things that go beyond the GMAT - your profile.
This is a great to start working on filling in gaps in leadership, EC, LOR, and other areas. This seems to be a trend, by the way (more people apply in a planned manner). Recently, number of admissions consultants started to offer advanced consulting service (12+ months) that did not involve essay analysis per se but a more general profile review. I know Marvel Admissions and Admissionado both do.

Hi lahai
Great to know that you are in the same situation too. I still have a hard time concentrating on the Gmat after a hard work day :-/

Still considering whether to hire a consultant or not...
