Is there anyone out there applying for Boston University? Does BU not require interview? I didn't see that on their website at all.

I've got an interview this week. I'm applying for the full-time program, with a concentration in finance.

BU calls applicants for interviews once you've submitted your application. Same as most other programs.

I have an interview at BU next week. Can anyone give me a sense of what to expect?

The person I interviewed with I believe was a graduate student from outside the school of management. She mentioned that she had read my profile, but I didn't see it in front of her. The questions were fairly general (what will you bring to the program, what is your biggest accomplishment/failure etc...) There's about three or four "standard" questions that she asks of everybody, then a couple of follow-up questions from the answers I gave, as well as some time for questions of my own.
The setting was pretty relaxed, it felt more like a conversation at times than an interview. I didn't know what to expect, and I thought it might be some brutal interrogation, but it was a relaxed atmosphere, and all my nerves went away in the first minute or so.
The whole process lasted less than 30 min.
Good luck!
