it seems to be kinda interesting but I am curious what people's experience has been on it and if it will be worth the ~500$ (300+ hotel/travel etc.).

thanks!

This definitely seems worth it. In the whole grand scheme of B-school, 500 usd is NOT that much, and from what I can tell, it does seem very intensive and informative. If you can swing 500 usd (and that's pocket change compared to what you'll be spending on b-school), GO for it.. and share your experiences!

It's probably a good event to attend if you're looking for a little extra motivation to start writing your essays, but I don't think you'll learn anything that you couldn't learn on this board or by reading websites.

You'll probably have the most fun networking with other applicants. Let us know how it is if you end up attending.

Looks like it is also getting combined with this event (mentions that there is a VIP access):

So, maybe worth killing several birds with one stone. I found it to be helpful to meet admissions staff - they are often very helpful and open to follow up contact (if you have questions about scholarships, decisions, documents, etc).... so possibly.
