well its meaningless post in almost every way except that I am really hating the work today, a bit more today, compared to other days! So is there anyone else out there who is not very fond of what they are doing or did before their b-school plans came in to action. I am just so desperate to get an admit from somewhere, so I can apply for a visa and feel a bit better that this job won't last much longer.

By the way please don't argue the flip side saying 'I should be thankful I have a job and all'. I'm thankful but sometimes you just need a window to vent out your frustation and for that I thank GMAT Club.

p.s I work in Saudi Arabia, no possibility of drinking through the tough times

In all seriousness, I wouldn't say I *hate* my current job, but since I got admitted I've had close to 0 motivation and can't wait to quit.

Sorry dude. I really like my job. But relax - you'll be headed to B-school soon enough, and then you can tell your boss to shove it, inshallah.

There are ways my friend. I worked for a company that had operations in Saudi and everyone I talked to from there spoke about the "Special Cokes". Basically they were Coke cans filled with either whiskey or some kind of moonshine.

Yep, same here. If I started this consulting project last year, I would probably be much more motivated. But now that I have the work equivalent of senioritis (and being that my work location isn't the greatest), I'm just waiting out the last few months here in the Outback... :lol:
