Kudos (?): 0 (0), given: 0

Well, I graduated with an MBA from a tier 2 school in California in 2006, and although employed, not really happy with my work (internal audit). My goal has been to get into corp finance or as an research analyst, but it has been difficult to break in with my MBA. As such, I am possibly looking into an MS degree with a specialized focus in finance.

Does this move make any sense? I do have a family. Do I continue to work my contacts, but 3.5 years has been long enough...

Also, if I do apply for an MSF type program, would I need to retake the GMAT again given most schools have the 5 year requirement? What a pain! Any schools out there that would sub an MBA in lieu of?

Any help is appreciated!
