I haven't set my date yet but I am planning to take this September. I am still on the first phase of my review and I really find it hard to concentrate and focus. I am planning to take review classes this June or July. I'm not sure where to enroll, I have searched and found out that the ones available here are the Princeton Review and Veritas Prep only. Although I'm not really sure how good they are (I am currently using MGMAT Prep Books), but I hope it will push/inspire/drive/pressure me to concentrate on my studying because I am vying for the 700 score.
I am basically doing this on my own. I don't have friends who have taken the GMAT or have gone to B School so it would be nice to be able to share it with someone (or with a group) to be able to discuss the whole process including Gmat Applications.
I am working Media City and live 15 mins away in that area. I also plan to take the online MGMAT classes. I was able to sign up for their trial session and I petty much liked it though I did not purchase the complete session yet as I am still trying to work out my sched, postponing possible vacations
How about you? When are you taking the exmas? Are you doing self study? Where are you based?
Hello Megz and Irene, I am appearing for GMAT in august and I just started with my preparations couple of weeks ago. I am seriously looking for someone who is interested in group study. Do let me know if you guys are interested.
I have been looking for GMAT classes in Dubai. I tried looking up online and stumbled upon a few. But I can't seem to make up my mind.
GMAT-Zone Dubai had a good feed back from my Friends ph: 050-87785859
So which is the best GMAT class(especially for verbal) in Dubai ? The last time i took the GMAT I scored a 620( Q46, V29), I will need to focus on verbal more, and I feel I have prepared on my own for way too long and still can't seem to score more than a 35( Manhattan Cat's) on verbal. It's high time I get some help from the experts!
I would love to hear from anyone who is currently taking classroom lessons for GMAT-Zone in DUbai.
I hope your GMAT preparation is coming along well. I am a first year MBA student at Chicago Booth and am hosting an informational event in Dubai on Friday, December 20. The event is a great opportunity to learn more about the MBA program at Chicago Booth in a casual setting. To get more information and register, please Google "Chicago Booth Admissions Events". Click on the first link in the results > Middle East and Africa > Dubai (sorry, GMAT Club won't let me post the exact link).
I hope some of you can make it. Good luck with the GMAT prep!
Brighter Prep’s GMAT program offers new GMAT group courses at least every two weeks. This allows absentees to attend “make-up” classes with another group at no additional charge if needed.
We recommend that students do their best to attend each class but we also do understand that GMAT test takers have a number of other responsibilities and will thus do our best to accommodate your unique circumstances.
Joining a group course provides unlimited access to Brighter Prep’s GMAT group classes. It is more like a life-time membership of GMAT. Students can attend the same class as many times as you need to grasp the concepts completely! 1 to 1 classes are customizable, and allow for each student’s desired day/time of the class. We provide a personalized timetable for each student of the 1 to 1 course.
Brighter Prep’s GMAT also offers crash courses. Students looking for intensive test prep courses can avail our crash courses. The crash courses will have one class on Saturday and another on Sunday, for four consecutive weekends.
Those students with enough time can attend one class every two months. At GMAT, the fastest a student could finish the course was in two weeks, and the slowest was about two years. So, Brighter Prep’s GMAT allows for high customizability and flexibility.
GMAT students have lot of options when it comes to deciding the duration and pace of each test prep course they aim to pursue.
