Applying Early Action / Early Decision and Financial Aid [#permalink]
25 Mar 2011, 11:26
A fair number of MBA programs are offering Early Decision and Early Action application rounds.
I'm wondering if you're at any disadvantage in terms of getting Financial Aid / Scholarships if you apply during these rounds, due to the binding nature.
For example: If you apply Early Decision to Columbia and are admitted, Columbia doesn't really have any motivation to offer a competitive financial aid package since you're already committed.
Does anyone have any feedback on this?

I dont think there will be a drastic cut in the decision to provide financial aid, however the number of scholarships might be limited in the early rounds.
