Applying to the same school for the third time?

Hey guys,
I would love to hear your perspective on this matter.
I applied to a top US business school (think Darden, Tuck) to the Class of 2015, and was waitlisted, then dinged. However, the school encoureged me to apply again for the Class of 2016. I rejected an offer from another program (think Ross, Duke, Yale) in order to apply again for this dream school for the Class of 2016. I worked on the weak aspects of my application, refined my essays, visited the school, interviewed on campus, talked to alumni and current students, but in the end, got rejected again (not even waitlisted this time around).
Now, I need to decide what to do. My options are:
1. Apply again to dream school for the Class of 2017
Pro - Chance of getting my MBA from my dream school, where I feel my family and I would be happy and fit in greatly.
Cons - I'd be 33 upon graduation, a little old for my targeted career (although I do know of students from my country who attended the same school and got the same job I want at the same age). Also, I would have to retake the GMAT. Despite having a 700+, my score is below the school average, and it was the only thing I did not improve from one application to the next.
2. Apply to a 1Y-program (INSEAD).
Pros - I'd graduate by the time I'm 31. INSEAD is a great school for my career goal. My current GMAT is fine by their standarts.
Cons - I'd have to give up the idea of getting my MBA in the US, at my dream school.
How do you think the school would view someone who applies 3 times in a row? Crazy, clueless, dumb? Or persistant, determined? I was so close to being accepted, I could feel it. I'm having a hard time letting go, I know I have what it takes to be admitted.
Do you know anyone who has gone through a similar situation? What would you do if you were me?
Thanks in advance for any comments you might have.
