I'd go for B.

Among must be used when comparing more than 2 things. Also, the compared items must be parallel: explaining, revealing and promoting.

Here three items are compared: between is used to compare two items where as among is more than two items.
Eliminate A, C and E
D is not parallel

B. My first take is that there is one choice with 'among', and the rest with 'between'.

This tells me that we are either dealing with 2 things and should use 'between', and if we are dealing with more than 2, then use 'among'. It seems that we are dealing with 3 items, and so should use 'among'.
