Strange question for you - do you think that since Brits are relatively rare (this is an assumption...) at US schools, this can be seen as an added advantage at places such as Stern, Darden, Fuqua, etc. compared to say, LBS, Said, Judge?

Thanks,

Dan.

Dan,

Brits most certainly are a minority at U.S. schools. As such their nationality is one asset or differentiator they bring to the U.S. application process that would not help them in the U.K. application process. In contrast, the nationality of an American, Indian, and perhaps Chinese applicant will definitely not help them stand out at a U.S. school, and is actually something they must work *against* in terms of differentiating themselves. That said, a Brit will be at a disadvantage in the cultural differentiation game vis-a-vis a Botswanan, Paraguayan, Tahitian, Icelander and so on. It's relative.

Good luck,
