Are there any 3 variable equations on the GMAT, aside from prehaps data sufficency? For problem solving these things can be cumbersome and time consuming. I am wondering how many if any one would actually see on the GMAT though.

Yes, there are three variable PSs on the GMAT. But normally you are given three equations (or sufficient info to make three equations).
