Are we allowed to read aloud? [#permalink] New post 04 Jul 2011, 21:15
I tend to do better in verbal when I can read aloud (in normal voice - not shouting or anything). Will I be allowed to do so when I take the actual test?

If the proctors don't notice and other test takers (who share a room with you) don't complain, then perhaps. But this is a tad risky, especially at the "normal voice" level.

I advise you to practice lowering your voice while going through verbal questions. This way you can adjust in case it's not possible to read aloud at your normal level during the actual test.

Don't worry guys I am not going to bother everybody by reading aloud - part of the reason I am asking this question :)

The very reason I am practicing with my ear plugs on every time I practice :p. God forbid somebody next to me starts mumbling - I get distracted so easily.
