Unless we are specifically talking about English, then no. I spent some time in Japan studying its language, and the GMAT would not have helped in any direct way.

yeah, i dont think its useful unless you are trying to learn English. And even then it would probably be a painful way to learn.

It might help to understand some grammatical structures, but I'm not sure the benefits would be that great

The foreign language especially English one, is the real beauty. It helps enhancing one's intellect and understanding. This is what I have experienced it to be.
