I also do not see any moral dimention in this argument. Its more about effectiveness. E for me too.

The question is: what is fire and water. According to the author, fire is "disinformation" and water is "truth".
The author comes full circle in her belief in the truth.
B would do this, but "moral standing" is out of scope.
