As we head to Suzuka this weekend, Michael Schumacher is able to clinch his 8th world title by finishing in first position while Alonso must not finish higher than in 9th position... There are a total of 22 cars on the grid.

The question is, what is the probability that Michael Schumacher wins the world drivers title this sunday?

*edit*

A) 4.5%
B) 2.3%
C) 3%
D) 1%
E) None of the above (in case i did wrong calculations )

Chance of Schumacher winning: 1/22

Chance of Alonso finishing in the last 14 places = 1 - chance of Alonso finishing in the first 8 places = 14/22

Chance of Schumacher winning AND Alonso finishing 9th or less = (1/22)*(14/22)*100

Is that right?
