Please explain your answers Between A and B , I'll stick with A although its awkward. Between dangerous and dangerously, I think dangerously should be used.

man! i should jump into bed now( 4 am for me ) , not even reading the sentences properly. It should be D . not only A and B but also X and Y is correctly used here .

this is an interesting question. While D looks gramatically correct, it changes the original meaning of the sentence (just as C and E do)-obesity leads to diabetes, heart disease and dangerously high levels of low-density lipoproteins. While A and B says that diabetes, heart disease and obesitry lead to dangerously high levels of low-density lipoproteins. I'd stay with A.

Obesity leads to diabetes, heartdisease and dangerously high .................. Answer choice A is confusing.

Please explain your answers The original question distorts the meaning of the sentence. Diabetes and heart disease cannot lead to high LDL. Instead, the sentence is trying to convey that it is obesity that leads to diabetes, heart disease as well as high LDL. Hence, A, B and C are out. Between D and E, D uses the idiom correctly. Hence D.

i have a tie between B and E
It is a modifier question, the hint here is Adverb dangerously, which verb this adverb is modifying, is it lead? Nope.
it is supposed to modify Highlevels, so it should be Adjective.
Interestingly, E is not parellel
Obesity can lead to not only diabetes and heart disease but also to dangerous
so i would go for B.
Any comments.

D.The message that I believe the author is trying to convey is: "As well as diabetes and heart disease, obesity can [also] lead to dangerously high levels..." That's probably not a very good explanation, but that's how I read the sentence

A says that all three things will lead to "high levels of low-density lipoproteins, or "bad" cholesterol" while D says that only obesity leads to all things, which is wrong I guess. therefore I am still with A.
What is OA.
