Asia Finance Career - MBA Location [#permalink]

I have read a fair amount of material that argues the case for taking an MBA in the region that you want to work.
I have always been dubious about this with regard to many industries, finance in particular.
Currently a UK citizen, I wish to do an MBA and continue to work in finance in Asia Pacific region. My preference is to study in Europe because I believe that my preference schools here are superior to anything that Asia can offer [at the moment]
Can anyone offer an insight into the trade-off between regional proximity vs school prestige?
NUS does look reasonably appealing, but I cant help but feel it is considerably behind top UK/EUR schools
