Hi LucyLu_Luxembourg,

On the GMAT, you should NOT be planning to spend the same amount of time on each question (that approach is impractical in BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections). Instead, your goal should be to work efficiently. Certain questions take less time to answer than others (you will almost certainly deal with certain Quant questions and certain SCs that you can answer in about 30 seconds), while others take more time (certain Quant questions will take 3 minutes to solve - and that's if you KNOW what you're doing; RC passages take time to read and take notes on, before you even get to the questions).

Pacing issues tend to improve over time, as you learn tactics (and practice them repeatedly) and learn the patterns behind the common questions that you'll face.

1) How long have you been studying?
2) What materials have you been using?
3) What is your score goal?
4) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
