Early on I have removed NYU from the list of primary schools. I have been reading alot about this school and it's strengths in finance and I think I've made a mistake that I should correct.

Is it unprofessional to ask recommenders to write one more (I swear last one!) recommendation?

i think it should be fine...just explain to him/her why you are considering NYU at this stage...i am sure they will understand...

unless you ask them to write one in the next couple of days :P

thanks buddy.. I guess I need to sit down and evaluate my plans before I approach them again.

Don't they just need to copy/paste their reco for other schools (well, maybe with minimal cosmetic change)? I thought the recos, unlike essays, are pretty much generic and school-independent...
