I am getting D

Let d = #of dogs
Let b = #of birds
Let p = pets

From question stem we know

p/3 = d and p/5 = b so 3d = 5b

I. 30 birds in the shop, means there are 150 pets hence the number of dogs can be determined which is 50 [sufficient]

II. d = 20 + b

Form question 3(20+b) = 5b

so b = 30, hence # of dogs can again be determined as 50 [sufficient]

Total # of pets = x
# of dogs = x/3
# of birds = x/5

St1:
x/5 = 30 --> we can solve for x/3. Sufficient.

St2:
x/3 - x/5 = 20 --> we can sovle for x/3. Sufficient.

D

1) 30 birds . say there are x pets.
1/5 * X = 30 => x = 150
Dogs = 1/3 * 150 = 50

2) B + 20 = D
=> 1/5*x +20 = 1/3*X
=> x=150

D = 1/3*150 = 50
