for 5 people seating arrangement around a circular table = (5-1)!
= 4!
= 4*3*2*1
=24

Hi for n things to make circular arrangement there are (n-1)! ways.
Based on this concept you can solve this question.

How this formula came: say you have n things which you want to arrange circularly.

fix 1 thing first. Now there can be (n-1)! different arrangement of rest things around first.

so total ways of arranging n thins circularly (n-1)!

Is the OA A or C? I assume OP is wrong and the answer is C.

for seating arrangement around a circular table, the permutation formula is

(n-1)!====> (5-1)!=4!=24
