I took GMATPrep CAT #2 tonight and scored a 610 (41Q, 34V) :? . Am I correct in assuming I should concentrate more on quant over the next 2 weeks or should I devote equal time to both? I am looking to score around 650 on my first attempt. Any advice on how to improve my score would be appreciated.

Thanks

It would probably be easier to bring your Q up from a 41 to say a 44 or 45 in two weeks than it would to bring your verbal to a 39 or 40. That being said, you can't completely ignore verbal over the next 2 weeks or you might drop to low 30's. So I would probably put an emphasis on quant but don't ignore verbal.

Usually GMATPrep is within 40 points of the final score (up or down).

How long have you been studyig? Which is easier for you quant or verbal?
Achdee is right - you don't have much time to invest, so focus on the area that is easiest to improve.

You are in the area of 650 - just keep reviewing your error log and taking full length tests to build up your stamina. However if you are looking for a higher score, you may want to reschedule to mid-Sept and save yourself $200
