Just trying to figure out how much time to allocate to this... do adcoms even look at this? How important is it to get 5-6?

It's been discussed here before. As long as you're at or above 4 it won't raise any flag. But if you get only 2/6 and have a well-polished essay, the adcom might raise some suspicion.
