Hi,
Yesterday i got a rejection from richard ivey :( . i wanted to ask that ivey this year waived off its processing fee in the end days and i applied during that time.I personally feel that ivey waived off its processing fee because it wanted to increase its application count and all the students who applied during waive off period were granted very few, almost negligible seats.
As i feel this might be one of the main reasons for not granting me the admission. Want opinion of you people?

regards

I've heard of this ruse before although I have been unable to confirm how widespread it actually is.

As generally described, schools purposefully solicit applications from students who have little chance of being accepted to make the acceptance rate appear more impressive.

Due to the nature of applications, it is difficult to find empirical support for this theory.
