I'm new on this forum and on my way to the MBA admission process. I'm Italian, but I live in Brazil since 2009.
I tend to feel more interested toward European B-schools, but I also feel that I lack in understanding the differences among most of them. The typical, key question "why that school", remains almost not answered.
Apart from rankings, brand strengths and locations, I'd like to ask to you all which are the most distinctive characters of the top US and non-US business schools, in terms of industry focus, topic/concentration strength, campus life, alumni network, specific programs and activities, etc. Why Stern and not Stanford? Why Oxford and not LBS? Why INSEAD and not Harvard? Why Columbia and not Kellogg?
I think it would be interesting to see the results, especially for a non-US guy who does not have all your tight contact with MBA programs
