Hi everyone-

First, thanks so much for this forum. It's been a huge help as I get ready
for the B-school application process.

What schools are strong in the biotech/device field? Like a lot of people,
I'll look at H/W/S, but I know those applications will be a collective
crap shoot. MIT/Sloan has a proven track record in this field, so I'll be
applying there as well. But what other schools should I be looking at?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Berkeley has a

Graduate Program in Health Management
http://www.haas.berkeley.edu/advantage/health/

and a

Certificate in Health Management
http://www.haas.berkeley.edu/advantage/ ... tcurr.html

Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but I thought it might help.

I think that since you already know a lot about healtchcare, you should focus on schools with good general management marks rather than specialized programs.

What I mean is: if you get into MIT or Duke, then go there, but don't choose Boston U over Stanford just because they have some joint healthcare / MBA program.

That's my opinion, of course, without knowing that much about anything healthcare related.
